It may go without saying, but never leave a burning candle unattended. A little caution keeps the vibe calm and the space safe.

For the first candle light, we recommend burning for 3–4 hours, and at least 2 hours each time after to help maintain an even wax pool.

Our wax burns at a lower temperature, which means you may notice a slight rim of wax, especially in larger or uniquely shaped vessels. That’s totally normal and can actually help your candle last longer. As the flame burns lower and lower into the vessel, the heat will eventually melt that wax along the rim of your candle.

Trim your wooden wick before each burn to keep the flame just right — about 1/4” tall avoids excess smoke and flickering… unless you’re into that sort of thing.

Stop burning your candle when about 1/4" of wax remains. This helps protect your beautiful vintage vessel from potential damage caused by the wick clip overheating.

And remember: these vessels weren’t originally designed to be candles, so show them a little extra love and caution when burning.
